Reason #1: They implement it before they have sufficient traffic.

Application funnels are great for separating the wheat from the chaff. But if you barely have anything to harvest, you may be putting a chokehold on the traffic you do have.

Step 1: Develop A Clear Funnel Strategy

Having a clear strategy is the foundation of a successful application funnel. Part of your strategy should be generating high quality leads and segmentation. Only 3% of the market is ready to buy.

By segmenting your audience for future marketing you set yourself up for success.

For example, one consultant mapped out their funnel step-by-step and saw a 50% increase in qualified leads within two months. Start by outlining each stage of your funnel, from attracting leads to converting them into clients.

Step 2: Position Yourself As The Expert

Many stumble here by not effectively showcasing their expertise.

Instead of just selling, share valuable content that builds trust. Provide insights and solutions that demonstrate your authority. This way, prospects see you as the expert they need.

Step 3: Create an Engaging Application Process

There’s light at the end of the tunnel when you create an application process that attracts the right clients.

One thing I recommend is having a video playing on the page while the applicant completes the form. The video should be testimonial after testimonial of people who have gone through your program and want to share their results.

They should share the challenges they had before the program, how you help them to solve it, and where they’re at now.

You should also add questions that challenge the applicant on what they’re bringing to the relationship.

By doing this, you’ll ensure that only prospects who are a perfect fit reach out to you. This makes your sales conversations more productive and strengthens your client base.
