For example, send a thank-you email right after a sale, followed by helpful tips a week later, and then an exclusive offer two weeks after that. Step 2: Personalize Your Emails

They send generic messages that don’t resonate with individual clients.

How to fix it:

Use the client’s name, reference their specific needs or past purchases, and tailor your content to their interests. Avoid the mistake of using one-size-fits-all templates. Instead, take a few extra minutes to make each email feel personal and relevant. You can still use templates, but be sure to leverage the custom field capabilities that your system has. Segment your audience so you speak to their exact pain points. And use their words within your emails.
